NCOC POD Engineering FM (Atyrau) Piping Specific Activities and Deliverables: -        Produce designs either using CAD or manually. -        Produce material counts from documents and input into computer systems. -        Produce other computer based or manual  documents as required. Additional courses for selecting pipe support materials. Restting shoe, Guide, Line stop , Anchor, Spring support. Facility Functional Unit Summary. Work out on verification and sketching of the drawings in AutoCAD, SMARTPLANT & InVision, Corel Draw 6.0/12, and other engineering technical software. - Develop drawing by Engineers commutation and help to specify location of equipments, length by computer program. - Designing of oil storage tanks. - Oil tank piping system and working platforms. - Piping of process units ( rectifiers, heat-exchangers, condensers, air-cooling units, pumps etc) - Metal ware ( working platforms, metal support structures. - International Standards for Design, Materials, Manufacturing and Testing.

Study\ finalize Layout drawings for tank farm, manifold, pumps, utilities facilities, firewater system, pipe rack and underground pipelines. Produce & check the piping GA drawings, Isometrics drawings, tie-in schedule and Nozzle orientation layouts. Provide input into installation packages and project drawings. Produce and check MTO, bill of materials. Resolve interferences using Clash Manager and generate various reports from database. Perform site surveys and site measurements to identify tie-in points. Provide input to project P&IDs and other discipline deliverables

Determines arrangement of equipment, piping etc., based on P&ID. Develops preliminary (sketch) hand drawing on special isometric sheet, isometric or detail drawing. Develops drawing in AutoCAD and MicroStation software from available data Based on preliminary drawing. Selects materials for developed project drawing. All necessary information (pipe, valve classification, etc.) Discusses/agrees on drawings with team lead to further drawing to project engineer for review. Follows safety and BBS rules in all phases of project development.Zero safety.

Responsibilities: underwent training in the pipeline department. In-depth training uses CAD software along with other packages using international standards and design specifications, as well as work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices. Work assignments should be made on the basis of the training and experience of the engineer, dependent on complexity and critical equipment. My responsibilities and activities were within Engineering department to provide support for senior engineer on drafting of various red-line drawings and construction as-built drawings. Preparing and developing piping isometric sketches and drawings. Site measures for getting size of existing lines, tubing and location of valves, etc

During internship with engineering and commissioning teams I have learned engineering tool Microstation V7 and documents control system IMIS. Provided support for DCC team on collecting red mark drawing from site and helped with printing and sorting documentations, site queries. Updates the drawing and documentations. Input to piping isometrics and sketch as requested by supervisors. Drafting as-built drawing in AutoCAD format I have a good understanding of ground principals of the facility design especially in the field of piping engineering, equipment layout and reading P&ID
